Lunch Hour Workshops

Free lunch hour workshops will be presented by leading composers and musicologists to give a greater insight into one of the works on each subscription program.

Each workshop commences at 1.10pm in Leighton Hall, Scientia UNSW. All welcome, bookings not required.


Workshop One - Thursday March 15, 1.10pm

Elena Kats-Chernin will present her newly commissioned work Interludes and a Rag.


Workshop Two - Thursday April 19, 1.10pm

Andrew Schultz will present his newly commissioned work One Sound.


Workshop Three - Thursday May 17, 1.10pm

Daniel Rojas will present Paquito D'Rivera's Aires tropicales.


Workshop Four - Thursday August 16, 1.10pm

Carl Vine will present his Sonata for flute and piano.


Workshop Five - Thursday September 20, 1.10pm

Dr. John Peterson will present Between earth and sea by Sally Beamish.


Workshop Six - Thursday October 18, 1.10pm

Maria Grenfell will be presenting her newly commissioned work for the Australia Ensemble.
